Decades ago it wasn't unusual to be asked by potential models to do shots for portfolio purposes.  I happened to be heading out to do some plate shots. After running off a role of 35mm slide film, just for a bit of fun decided to do some shots of the girl posing with my plate camera.

Imagine my surprise when getting the plate shots developed and finding a shot better than the 35mm slides I took. Even more amazing was I was using a plate camera in a way you are not supposed to use. A moving subject. It went against all the rules of using a plate camera. 

The Pose of the girl combined with the purple dress and red post box makes for a dynamic shot. The background has long since been demolished and replaced by a Shopping centre a long time ago.
