This shot I took in college and while I enjoyed the composition I was never happy that the image was mono. I was using b/w film that day when I caught the light streaming through the window and didn't have time to change to colour film. It would have taken too long to do. 

Modern technology allowed me to colour it in the way I would have wished had I used colour film at the time.

I made the girl in purple the main image and altered the colours to make it more punchy in the colour image.

It works great in mono but the new colour scheme gives it an extra dimension in colour enhancing and complementing the original mono image.
